And thus, it starts...
After having been down with stomach flu for about a week, followed by Dengue + Typhoid for another couple of weeks after that, I had lost just about every single ounce of effort that I'd put in at the gym 5 months prior to that. I ended up losing any little muscle that I gained, and in the process, somehow managed to lose weight but still gain a huge tummy.
"Enough is enough" rang a gong in my head, and as soon as I wasn't feeling exhausted all the time, I decided to get off my ass and start working again. In tandem to this, I share a quote which is now etched in my mind:
If you're tired of starting over, stop quitting. That's exactly what I've been doing all this while (quitting), so there's one mistake that I need to stop making. To honor that quote, I've started my routine again TODAY. And there comes the main reason that I'm starting this blog - I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one out there on the road to recovery or on the path to try and sculpt a body that wouldn't disgust me every time I look in the mirror. So, this here's to share what I'm doing and maybe gain a few pointers from the veterans too. Hopefully, this blog will help more than myself along the way.
What can you look forward to in my blog?
Tips, tricks, and techniques that may or may not be common but which are helping me achieve my goals. Dos and Don'ts that I manage to discover with regards to working out. And my personal experience with using 1 or 2 supplements. Diet(s) that I follow. A bit more than all of this too!
And I request...
If you have plenty of experience in training and bodybuilding, then a lot of things that I might be doing could be wrong. In which case, I'm probably depending on you, the veteran, the pro, to help me out with my goals and get where I want to be. So, please. As long as your criticism is constructive, I'd be more than happy to take your feedback and work on it. If you can, leave me with a way to contact you, so I can probably get back to you on the same. And if you've decided to help me out even in the minutest way possible, thanks a million!
